Call out to all cool and slightly crazy kids and teens!

You have the chance to become one of the lucky Estonian children to participate in a nature and creativity camp with other Estonian children ja teens. But not just any Estonian children, rather Estonian children living in North America!

You’ll spend time together to have fun and excitement, enjoying a beautiful summer with activities together. All participate are welcome – whatever your interests and talents are. All we expect from you is the curiosity to explore!

You should definitely say ‘yes’ to the invitation if you are:

– Between 6 – 17 years old.
– Brave enough to take the first step and try new and exciting things.
– An explorer – you are ready to go somewhere you may not have been before.
– Full of curiosity to explore different talents.
– Creative – you love to spend your time around music, dance, art, craft, playing or just spending time in nature.

Is that all sounds great, then pack your suitcase and get ready to spend July 31st, 2023-August 6th, 2023 at a youth camp in Chicago’s Estonian House, USA.

Activities:
1. Creativity workshops: music, singing, art, lots of different kinds of dance, acting, games, crafts, art, singing games.

2. Nature: survival games, knowledge of life, treasure hunting, orienteering, campfires.

3. Sports: volleyball, basketball, badminton, athletics, archery

The camp ends with a big performance!
Younger campers (3-5 years old) will have the opportunity to participate in two half days of camp life and the final performance.

Camp Facilitators
Kohila children’s camp “Play is the work of a little person” led by Anneliis Kõiv, dance coaches from Free Flow Studio led by Alice Aleksandrid, music making with Laura Põldvere and Ingmar Kiviloo. The camp will be attended by 20 young people from Estonia.
